I have the perfect storm of questions leading to a discussion of why your joints are not levers and why bones don’t actually touch.

You’re going to need a serious dose of @neurocoffee for this one.

Yesterday during the Coffee ’n’ Coaches Conference Call we discussed one mechanism that prevents bones from touching.

Hey Bill, since bones don’t actually touch I’m curious about an explanation, via your model, as to why we get things such as OA? Also, why is it more common in the medial compartment of the knee rather than lateral?
