Q & A for The 16% – The 120 degree Straight Leg Raise – Side Split Squat

May 15, 2020 By Bill Leave a Comment

I have @neurocoffee in hand and hope you have yours for today’s Q & A.

From Domen:

What about people that are presenting with excessive straight leg raise (120°) and have limitation in hip IR but sufficient ER? Could it be that this person has an inhaled pelvis with anterior orientation which would still allow such straight leg raise?

From Josh:

Are there specific cues you use when coaching a side split squat when dealing with a compressed wide ISA individual? I’m guessing we shouldn’t allow the knee to move laterally but just wanted to make sure.

Have a great weekend.

The podcast will be up this weekend as well. Get the whole week in review and listen while you pretend to work or while you’re just relaxing.

You have to earn your way into the 16%. To do so, we must think differently. Fitness training is young and indecisive. Rehab is stagnating. Strength & Conditioning is being stifled by tradition and confusion. It's time to do the work necessary to improve or join the average.
