Case Comparison: How does pelvis orientation influence knee orientation

January 29, 2020 By Bill Leave a Comment

How does the orientation of the pelvis influence measures at the hip and at the knee (and foot)?

We had a couple of cases this week that showed the same orientation to different degrees, therefore, their measures and findings reflected the degree of influence on the knee.

In this video:

  • What does anterior orientation do to hip measures?
  • How do you identify anterior orientation?
  • What two measures let me know that I have an oblique orientation of the pelvis?
  • What orientation of the knee allows or prevents knee extension?
  • How can the foot provide confirmation of the hip orientation?
